Nintendo Pulls Smash Bros From Evo 2022?

On today's Fix Esports, Nintendo has taken Super Smash Bros. off the Evo 2022 menu. Is it because Evo is now owned by Sony? Or maybe it's because they have their own Smash circuit now?
